Presentation Mode: Keeping Team Meetings Efficient and Transparent
Running effective team meetings can be challenging. Presenters ramble, attendees get distracted, and the meetings end without clear action items or decisions. And for newly-remote teams, it’s all harder than ever.
Meetings work best when the most important information is front-and-center. That’s why we’re announcing a new feature within Koan to power great goal review meetings: Presentation Mode.
Presents all team goals in a full-screen, streamlined view that looks great in Zoom and other screen-sharing tools
Curates all information from team OKRs into one place
Breaks down lead and contributor confidence scores
Saves you precious clicks, including the option for keyboard navigation
Koan's Presentation Mode offers a way to view your OKRs' latest updates in an organized, streamlined way, helping improve efficiency in meetings. Instead of clicking individual Key Results to view the latest status, confidence score and commentary, Presentation Mode helps team leads walk through all Objectives and Key Results that assigned to the team. Within each Key Result, there is a breakdown of lead and contributor confidence, with related comments.
As most teams are closing out their Q1 goals and drafting Q2 OKRs, Presentation Mode offers an easy way to communicate with the broader organization and keep everyone on the same page. Having a single view into the status of team goals, as well as individual contributions, enables more positive, informed discussions within the meeting.
At Koan, OKR reviews are a key part of our weekly team meetings. By using Presentation Mode, we’ve found that everyone is more engaged overall, and that we get even more time to problem solve and hone in on the key issues to move our goals forward.
While Koan can’t make every meeting magically great, we hope to make your staff meetings just a bit more efficient and strategic. For more information about Presentation Mode, visit the help center.
